Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez Leave The Valley for Family

Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez said on Sept. 1 they will not return to The Valley after three seasons on Bravo. The joint Instagram note put their marriage and four children first, 13 days after the Season 3 reunion’s third part aired on Aug. 19.

Sanchez had already drawn that line in June, when she said they would pause the Vanderpump Rules spinoff if the cameras pushed the marriage past a place they could quickly rebound from. The Sept. 1 post is that pause, made permanent.

Nia Already Named the Line They Would Not Cross

Sanchez, the Miss USA 2014 winner, and Booko, a 42-year-old actor and voice actor, have been married since Oct. 17, 2015. They joined The Valley as original cast in 2024, the church-going parents in a circle of Vanderpump Rules alums moving from West Hollywood nights toward kids and houses in the San Fernando Valley.

By June 25, with Season 3 still on the air, Sanchez was describing viewer messages that went far past snark. She said Booko had gotten death threats, including notes telling him to take himself out so his kids and wife would be happier. She called that heartbreaking, and then she named the only test that mattered to them.

I’ve always told Daniel the No. 1 most important thing, and we’ve both said this to each other, is the health of our marriage. If we feel like we’re getting to a place that’s not something we can quickly rebound from, then we need to put a pause to focus on the health of our marriage and longevity of that for us and our kids. That’s the most important thing over anything else, our family.

She also said they were in a better place then, with therapy and work both of them were putting in. The September post does not accuse Bravo, and it does not name a co-star. It simply says they will not be returning, that they are fully committed to each other and their children, and that they are looking forward to the next chapter.

Bravo Sold the Crack in a Picture-Perfect Marriage

The Valley premiered on March 19, 2024, sold as the next phase after Vanderpump Rules: marriage, kids, and homeownership outside Los Angeles. Booko and Sanchez were the couple that still fit that pitch when cameras rolled on Season 3. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright had split. Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei were in a divorce. Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick were new parents. The Bookos still had the intact marriage and the full house of small children.

Bravo’s official Season 3 bio billed them as parents to “four under 4,” juggling family life, a social calendar, and a move to distant Santa Clarita. The next sentence was the season’s hook. When the stress added up, their friends noticed a different side of Danny, “putting Nia back on the defense to keep up their picture-perfect marriage.”

That different side became the plot. Castmates spent Season 3 on Booko’s drinking and on how he spoke to Sanchez, including a San Diego trip where the pair fought while caring for infant Adelaide and a later Mexico trip where Sanchez put herself between Booko and new full-time cast member Lala Kent. Kent, who is sober, called him out. Janet Caperna, still in a freeze with the couple from Season 2, told him in Mexico to drink all he wanted, just not to be weird.

On May 20, after those episodes aired, Booko skipped a Watch What Happens Live taping and posted an apology to Sanchez on Instagram Stories.

Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of. A short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you. Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens. I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some of these moments.

He later said on camera that he was in therapy for his drinking. The three-part reunion, which closed on Aug. 19, did not settle the group. At Brittany Cartwright’s Halloween party in the finale, Caperna threw a drink in Booko’s face after he went after her husband, Jason. On the After Show she said she could sit there and lie, then added that she regretted she was not drinking red wine. Booko said any repair would have to start with a grovel.

Death Threats Reached the House in Santa Clarita

The couple had already moved the family to Santa Clarita after Season 2, with Adelaide arriving on June 5, 2025, about two and a half weeks after they got the keys. Sanchez had been reluctant. Booko wanted the space. By summer 2026, Sanchez was talking about evening walks, the park, and the farmer’s market, and calling the neighborhood a safe place to raise children. The same months brought the DMs.

Season 2 had already attached Booko’s name to a drunken off-camera night with Jasmine Goode and Melissa Carelli. He apologized for inappropriate behavior. Caperna later used the words sexual assault, a phrase she walked back in part and that Booko said blew up a bridge. He told the cameras it was one of the hardest summers of his life, that his name was attached to words he never thought would be there, and that he had four kids and a career. Goode, Carelli, and Booko had, on the show’s account, agreed to move on after apologies. The label still followed him into Season 3, and so did the drinking edit.

Sanchez had lived through public pile-ons before, as Miss USA and as first runner-up at Miss Universe 2014. She told Booko to start each day fresh, to work out, pray, and meditate, and to keep his head in a place the children could use. The June interview still treated the show as an “incredible platform.” It also treated the marriage as the veto. When they posted on Sept. 1, they were using that veto.

Jax Taylor Left First, for the Same Reason

The Valley has now lost the original party lead and the original married parents, both of them citing children. Taylor, then 46, said on July 16, 2025, that he would step away from Season 3 after “an incredibly challenging year” and honest talks with his team and producers. His focus, he said, needed to be sobriety, mental health, and coparenting, “especially for our son, Cruz.” Season 2 had filmed the end of his marriage to Cartwright, a violent fight, cocaine use he later described as a two-decade on-and-off problem, and a stay in a mental health facility. He later called the absence a pause, not a goodbye. He did not come back for Season 3.

Booko and Sanchez are the second and third high-profile names off the call sheet. Their note is softer than Taylor’s, with thanks to Bravo and no medical detail. The through-line is the same. The spinoff that was supposed to be about growing up keeps losing the people who tried to do it on camera.

WHO HAS LEFT THE ORIGINAL VALLEY CAST

The remaining original mains are Cartwright, Doute, Broderick, Janet and Jason Caperna, Lally, and Saniei. Jasmine Goode and Zack Wickham moved from recurring to full-time. Kent and Tom Schwartz joined full-time for Season 3 after a BravoCon announcement on Nov. 14, 2025. Bravo has not posted a Season 4 renewal.

What Season 3 Did to the Original Family Cast

Main players logged 51 episodes across three seasons. For Booko and Sanchez, those hours turned their parenting into both the show’s warmest footage and its sharpest pressure. Sanchez had spoken on camera about postpartum life after the twins, and about balancing work with four children. Booko’s short fuse on trips became a group topic, then a fan topic, then a threat in the inbox.

Luke Broderick, close with the couple, said on the After Show that the Capernas had put themselves on an island. “Why would we include them in something when we want Danny and Nia there?” he asked. Santa Clarita then became the island the Bookos would not come back from. The louder problem around the Bravo post was not the wording of the goodbye. It was the Halloween-party drink, and the sense that the network kept the person who threw it while the parents walked.

FROM THE MAY APOLOGY TO THE EXIT

In a July talk with Bravo, Sanchez had sounded almost light about the same marriage. “Even though my husband and I have conflict, which happens in relationships, we love each other and we’re good,” she said. They fail at it sometimes, she added, and life is good now. That was after filming, after therapy, and before the Sept. 1 note. The work on the marriage continued. The work on the show did not.

Kristen Doute and Scheana Shay Backed the Exit

Bravo confirmed they are leaving after Season 3 by posting the Instagram statement on its own site on Sept. 2. In the comments, Doute wrote, “I love you sis.” Vanderpump Rules alum Scheana Shay wrote, “PROTECT YOUR PEACE.” Michelle Saniei, Jesse Lally, and Luke Broderick liked the post. Those are the people who still have to share a friend group, and a possible Season 4, without the couple they kept choosing over the Capernas.

The announcement itself sat on Sanchez’s grid, a posed photo of the pair and a short letter that starts “Hey Everyone.”

Replacement talk filled the vacuum because the show just lost two originals while cameras were expected to go back up. Shay’s name came up fastest, which is a measure of how thin the “Valley friends with kids” bench now looks. It is also a rumor, and it stays one until Bravo says otherwise.

Four Kids, a Tenth Anniversary and No Cameras

The children the show kept framing as “four under 4” are Asher, 4; twin daughters Isabelle and Zariah, 3; and Adelaide, 15 months. The twins have started working in entertainment, and Sanchez has said Booko, who used to teach acting to kids, is the right dad for that. She recently sat as a judge at Miss USA. He is still taking acting work. Bravo also noted an upgraded wedding band he gave her for their tenth anniversary in October 2025, and Sanchez has even floated a vow renewal as another reason to celebrate, not as a repair.

THE BOOKO CHILDREN

• Isabelle and Zariah: Twin daughters, 3, now taking early acting jobs with their parents’ help.

Sanchez has said she and Booko have “some business and media ideas” in the works. That is the next chapter they pointed to, not another Bravo reunion stage. The Valley can still film the remaining friend group, the open Caperna fight, Kent’s sobriety, Cartwright’s single-mom dating, and Schwartz looking for a partner. It will do that without the couple Bravo once used to prove the title meant family.

They thanked Bravo and the audience, closed with a white heart, and signed it Danny + Nia. The family stays in Santa Clarita. The call sheet does not.
